How AAU / club basketball works in DFW
Most DFW clubs form spring teams from late January to early April, with a smaller fall tryout window in August and September. Teams are grouped by school grade (often written as age, like 13U for 7th grade). Spring and summer weekends are tournament weekends; many events are held at fieldhouses in Duncanville, Mansfield, Rockwall, Plano, Arlington and Lewisville.
